About Us

Spare Some for Autism seeks to improve the quality of life for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We are dedicated to funding programs that will directly impact the individuals that are affected by ASD and allow them to achieve their highest level of independence within their home, school and community, all while gaining respect and support for themselves.

Spare Some for Autism also seeks to support families affected by ASD by educating them on such topics as literacy and coping with disabilities so that families will be better prepared to support each other.

Who We Are

Spare Some for Autism was founded in Raleigh, North Carolina by Beth Jarvis,  by a local CEO and mother of an autistic daughter.  Beth's daughter Cameron was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the age of 3.

Spare Some for Autism is the result of Cameron's loving spirit, Beth's will to provide a better life for her daughter and other individuals with Autism, and the entire autism advocacy community's journey to provide answers and support to individuals and their loved ones affected by this disorder.

Sensitive Santa & Easter Bunny

Spare Some for Autism is proud to organize the Sensitive Santa and Sensitive Easter Bunny visits located at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, North Carolina each year.

This is a special time for our participants only to visit with either Santa or the Easter Bunny!  The area is "Sensitive Friendly" with lower lights and quieter surroundings.  The Mall will be closed at this time, just to accommodate our SSfA's participants and families.  Each family gets a much time as they would like to visit with either Santa or the Easter Bunny to ensure the less amount of stress possible and an enjoyable time for all!

Please follow our Facebook page to see the dates and times of these events.
